I love discovering new art, I spend a lot of time in Galleries (loner alert) and when there's the I can spend a lot of it looking at just one painting.
When it's possible i love getting up close and in the case of oils seeing the brush strokes/pallet knife.

I'm lucky in London that the majority of Galleries are free to enter, apart from time-limited exhibitions that charge.

I can't give you a favourite artist as it depends on my mood, but here are some of my constant favourites.
If you have your own, please feel free to add a link, I'd love to see them.

Edward Hopper, Hopper is amazing!!!! really portrays the Human condition.

Vincent van Gogh, Always a favourite, try to see his work and get up close to them, you'll be standing where Vincent once stood.

I'm not a 'everything on there' kind of pizza guy, give me pepperoni and I'm happy. No garlic butter though, IDK when that became the go-to thing for pizza and the crust.

 

we have a local diner here in twon that serves real pasta and pizza from Italy. There are some additional things like sallad and appetizers aswell. The husband in the family is from Sardinia. What i notice with their pizzas in contrast to the normal pizzas you get is the simplicity of them. Not tons of ingredients on top but more a simple theme they go for. It can be veggie, cheese meat or ocean based. But having real ingredients directly from italy lifts the pizzas and pastas to a whole different level. Its a bit more expensive but Worth every dime.

 

I agree, when you get away from Franchise Pizza places to outlets that are from Italy or an Italian background or tradition there is a big difference.
So in many ways there's American Pizza's and Italian pizza's with some cross overs, here in the UK we get both.

I tend to go for Thin Crust tradition.

I've seen Pizza's served with meatballs on them...

The synopsis doesn't sound bad... but the movie was made in 2017 and it doesn't have a trailer yet I don't know... it's going to flop

What do you all use as a browser? I usually use Google Chrome but it's constantly freezing, it's not a virus/nasty, I've checked any add on's so it's not that.

Also cleared cache etc.

I've re-installed it with no effect.

A shame his career cant seem to take of after harry potter. I loved him in swiss army man though where he acted with Paul Dano who i think doesnt get enough praise. I like Dano in almost everything he does.

Last day at work till Tuesday (then only two days next week then its Edinburgh), today my friend at work is bringing me on a Cake treasure hunt.

Tonight seeing my mates (won't see them again until September) then wifie is taking me away for the weekend.

Yeah, right it feels like this summer just vanished in thin air. Im going back to work on monday. Cant say i hate that, i tend to be very restless if i have too lomg vacations.

 

It has been oddly mild here this summer save for a couple weeks, kind of freaks me out that it's felt like fall for the most part here.

 

Its slowly getting darker earlier in the evenings (this is for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere) but its school holidays in the UK
and Ireland that get me, Summer holidays Scotland: All schools = Early June - 2nd week in August, England: Public Schools = 3rd week in July - 1st week
in September, Ireland (Republic) = Junior school's 2nd week in June - 1st/2nd week in Sept.

On browser's thanks for the feedback, I'm currently using Google Chrome it was great but kept freezing, re-installed it
but it made no difference.
Used CCleaner daily and SpyBot search and destroy, the latter found and removed cookies/etc, but made no difference.
Overnight someone suggested I try Malwarebyte, downloaded it, it removed 24 entries, that's after using CC daily and Spybot
regularly.

Google Chrome currently much better, will see how it goes.

I have a work computer, but I also bring my own laptop in (that's the one that was affected) we have the cloud at work.
But I'm old school belt and braces, just in case either way.

Using my Kilgrave/Jessica Jones powers, I got into Rachel's head (older management representative Woman always with Emma
on Events/Appearances that says "that's enough Emma"), I gave her the instruction... "Pull". (Wish).
