    They filmed it 18 months ago on one day, but I've already seen Phoebe in Edinburgh when she did her Original Fleabag Stage show.

    Looking forward to seeing Rose McGowan this year.
    The "Two" have cancelled their appearance at Comic Con.

    Who are "The Two"? This better not be something so simple and obvious, cause I'll feel real stupid lol.

    It might be one of those situations like Lord Of The Rings, where after the final movie came out it won all the awards almost as an overall achievement of sorts as opposed to that finale being truly the best. Same could be happening with GoT, where it's gonna rack up all the awards not necessarily based on the final episode(s) but on the whole series.

    The Two David's... the Two GOT Showrunners.
    HBO revealed Wednesday an updated panel lineup for the upcoming San Diego fan event, no reason was given for the schedule change.

    In all five previously announced names no longer scheduled to attend:
    Writer-producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss, director Miguel Sapochnik, actors Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) & Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei of Naath) are no longer going.

    This would of been their the first public appearance (or interview) since the divisive series ended in May.

    The Emmy noms are really spread wide, could be some surprises.

    I love how Gwendoline Christie, Alfie Allen & Carice van Houten nominated themselves after HBO didn't nominate them.

    Do people like you and me, that is, other than those in the TV/Film/Entertainment business itself, really bother (i.e. ultimately remember) about Emmy's, BAFTA's, Oscars and the like? I have no recollection whether the Radio broadcasts, Films and TV content that impressed themselves on my early memory gained any accolades from the industry or the critics of the day? What I mean is, the material itself left it's mark on me, but the opinions of the "experts" are long forgotten - if they ever reached my consciousness in the first place?

    I tend to agree with you, apart from the lead-up, the ceremony and directly after, it really means little.

    If anything its more important to be nominated (hence self-nominations) how many times have you heard at an Awards ceremony actors being introduced as "Oscar/Emmy/Tony/Emmy" nominated actor.

    The Emmy field is so huge, its a bit like Emmy nominated, ok here you go...

    I got to write that comic con seem like a fun place to visit. As long as i dont have to deal with know it all nerds i can probably enjoy my time there.

    I haven't been to the San Diego Comic Con, but I've been to a few others, there good but the crowds are a killer (plus it can be a real cash rip off), the only way to be really fun is to have a VIP ticket or better still be a VIP on a panel.
