I'm still an admin, and other admins would likely take exception if they saw such a thing. So, like I said, bad advice.

 

So do what you need to if you have such think skin that you can give it, but not take it (you always seem to be decent about people calling you out though)
If another admin feels the need to stick up a ban a member for calling someone out that acts like a dick, I'm sure their life will go on.
It isn't like a banned member could not see the board/pics.

But threatening bans because members are discussing well known issues that a female celeb has (just because you like her) is shit moderating & bringing that up should not equal a ban.

 

That's not what I'm talking about Dave. Standard mod policy is for mods to ban members who flame other mods. It doesn't always happen depending on context, but it is that simple. It's not even personal. If you (or anyone) told spider (for example) to go fuck himself I'd give you 2 weeks off. I wouldn't think twice about because it's our policy. I myself don't care what people say to me, and I seldom make them pay for it when I do, and most everyone knows that. But I don't control what my colleagues do, nor will I overturn their actions. So again, it's bad advice to tell a new member that it's OK to tell me to fuck off. It's just bad form, and it can get them banned.
