One way is phishing scams. Sending an email to change the password, and somehow they fall for it. Someone once mentioned that a celeb that went to an Ivy league college actually fell for it. Everyone thinks it was Natalie Portman that he was referring to. She went to Harvard. How they get the emails in the first place, I'm not sure.

Then they have a little underground trading ring, like a fight club. Some guys get sets that others weren't able to get. So they trade. Most of these legit rippers look down on us horny folk, and even more so the people that leak. They feel it's their property and shouldn't be leaked at all. But there are so "heroes"

You know when your set has no value when you try to trade and realize everyone has it, so you can't do shit, I guess.

Some of these people don't always trade for celeb sets. Some are interested in trading for original content, like pics/vids of ones girlfriend. Someone told me that's one way to get your foot in the door if you're not a ripper. Then you have something that you can use to trade and "build your collection".

Trading is risky though because you can easily trade a valuable set and then you get fucked over for a fake set. It has happened in the past that someone leaked a set out of spite to kill the value after getting screwed in a trade.

The whole thing is complicated and fascinating

Anne Hathaway has a set? i thought the only set she has is in the possession of the FBI, if i remember correctly, when her mob boss ex-bf got caught by the feds back in mid 2000, it was stated that they acquired flash drives of Anne Hathaway in some type of "professional" looking nudes and explicit photos.

 

I've only heard of a couple too, and the only one I bothered saving was Katie Cassidy. Most of them are nobodies to those of us not interested in whatever they do, which often isn't much...

 

I wouldn't say a lot have been nobodies... there's been a fair few UK focussed people. If someone said they had Alex Jones nudes... most Americans would recoil in disgust thinking it was that sick fuck... But us over here would (and did) perk up hoping it was the Welsh presenter...

 

If they're gonna hack presenters and shit, you'd think someone could snag me some Paige Davis. But noooooooo!

 

I'll believe in when I see it. But saw on another forum Nyx or whoever is supposed to be dropping something on the 21st is going to be dropping 55 sets. Yes 55. The guy seemed legit saying the Vola has gone to shit, which it has, and that he is in his discord group. No names though. Just a claim of 55 sets.

 

I was a trader for awhile 3 summers ago. I've been lurking on this site for years but figured I'd go ahead and finally make an account so I could add my two cents to this discussion. First off, I actually bought my way in. There was a guy posting on one of the chans who was babbling a bit too much about being part of that community and he made his email address readily available. Only $25 for a well-known actress who had already done full frontal nudity, so her set wasn't too valuable. I used that set to aquire rarer sets until I was in the thick of it. Getting the JLaw set was a real rush because only a handful of people has seen her naked at that time and she was at the peak of her fame. Well, I say handful... it was likely hundreds, possibly a few thousand people. I never really got an idea of how many traders there really were. But having the JLaw set before it leaked opened a lot of doors for me because it was the most in demand set at the time. (Fun fact: My set had the original EXIF data and she's 20 years old in most of those pics, 19 in a few.) Anyway, most of the guys were cool. No bullshit, real matter of fact "This is who I've got, who do you have?" trades. There were a few psychos though. Including a few guys who liked to make threats about "exposing" other traders if they didn't get the pics they wanted. After the massive leaks in August 2014 I got out of the game for the most part. We didn't know what kind of fallout there would be so a lot of us stayed away for good. Since I wasn't a hacker or a leaker I figured I was safe. I dipped my toe back in the water earlier this year and got fucked over. I heard through the grapevine there were some new big names being traded so I offered up one of my old sets that didn't leak, only got a censored preview pic in return, then within 24 hours my previously unleaked set was plastered everywhere. I confronted the guy about it and he was like "Too fuckin' bad." A real prick. Anyway, buying your way in is almost impossible now. Since my one remaining set got leaked I've got nothing of value to these people so I'm just an observer now. There are a few sets I'm eagerly anticipating the releases of, including Anne Hathaway because I've heard her pics are exceptional. And for an actress who's already done great nudity to have a valuable set is definitely a rarity. Sorry for rambling on so long, but if anybody has any questions about trading life I'd be glad to answer.

 

Why wait? If it's all gone to shit on vola, then release them now

EDIT -You had the J-Law set? Can I ask... that censored shot with the cat's head over her pussy, is there an uncensored version out there?

 

I heard the opposite of Anne Hathaway. I heard her set is similar to the Brie set, minus the full frontal shot. So I guess just generic topless selfies. That's how the Brie set was. Some said it's a bit generic, and others said it was great. I guess it depends on how big a fan you are of the person. I'd love to see, because I just get off on seeing private pics.

Has the complete JLaw set actually come out? I've heard two different stories:

A) There are still some pics left, but they're all just variants of ones already released, as she clearly took multiples in the same rooms.
B) There's something more explicit like a masturbation vid.

 

This person implied it was someone very famous. So that's why everyone thinks it's Portman. There are other Ivy league colleges though, so could be someone else.

 

If someone was to attempt to get their way into it, where would one go to find traders?
