I may be old fashioned, but I prefer the single shot GIF's. I am aware that people like to experiment with the technology, but it would be nice to have options. Thanks

 

I prefer the old robust, larger capacity android Kindle, but I have a Ipad mini in my hand now.
I could still have my Commodore 64 PC from the 80's, but have a touch screen HP instead.

You can stick with the old ways or not, up to you. That or Gfycat etc increases its time limit.
Then would be happy to do a single 60 second gif etc

At the moment it seems we are lucky to have some gifs posted, to be honest.

The original purpose of gfycat was to create, and host long form gifs for this forum. Since then gfy has turned into a long form webm video provider, which is not in the spirit of this forum.

The Celebrity Gif's thread is for homemade gifs. So from here on out, in this thread, post nothing but gifs.

If you want to post homemade webm's and mp4's, create a new thread.

and got me and a lot of others into it for a long time now. We all have a following in here and now you say no to Gfycat, or create a new thread.
I am sure we don't want to go to 2 threads and separate members inputs and enjoyment.

Spider and others kept me up to date with TV and Movies etc, even with the small gifs, but there was also a place for larger creation here.
With gfycat it also took a lot of work and creation behind the scenes to make them. All I can say is enjoy only the 8 second thumbnail size gifs now.

It was better with a mix of quality.

 

I take web videos or other sources and edit them, take parts and join them, brighten up the colors, etc so I feel that fits the purpose of this thread. But if the mods deem a different thread we can create one.
