It's called being a politician. A rather successful one I might add. To keep a country of 300+ million people running smoothly, you have to juggle the interests of the public, big money, big business, the opposing party, the media and make deals with other countries, friendly to us or not so friendly. The majority of which is behind closed doors, takes hundreds of hours to get done and is a thankless job. She's outstanding at doing that. My only issue with Hillary is that she isn't a strong public speaker, a smooth talker so to speak. So what, she gets the job done. There is nothing damning in those leaks.

I will not call the kid glove handling and the billions of dollars of free advertising by the media to Trump holding his feet to the fire. It was only after he used them to advertise his new hotel did the media turned on them because he used them like the chumps they are. Hillary's policy positions is all but ignored by the US media, which is sad because she have some very progressive issues outlined and would take us forward as a nation.

 

That "being a politician" thing is what has lead to where the US is today. Trying to do the same thing again and expecting things to get better is not logical.


Tump has not gotten a pass from the media, he is manipulating the media; that's a whole other story.

 

But what about Hillary?

Watching coverage and stump speeches it is becoming obvious that if nothing changes Trump will loose. What is also obvious is he may be setting up a post election strategy. His own personal splinter of the Republican party. The man is not a fool. He is dangerous in a way that no open minded person should admire.

 

What's funny is that you actually believe that it's a slam dunk for Hillary when the polls are all oversampling Democrats by 10% or more. I know that Obama didn't win by a 10% margin and Trump earned the most primary votes in the history of all Republicans ever! If the size of his rallies are any indication, Hillary will be steamrolled..... as well she should be. As far as everyone calling Trump a dictator for saying he'd lock Hillary up, he said he'd appoint a special prosecutor to look into her crimes. Since the crimes are as clear as day, it will be a slam dunk. Lying to congress is a crime which she is guilty of, destroying emails after a subpoena is a crime, which she is guilty of. Nevermind the actually process of setting up the server to avoid FOIA requests and her misdeeds with the Clinton foundation.

 

First of all, why would any conservative women do this? More likely they'd say they are not going to vote for him or they are undecided because they don't want to alienate their liberal friends; then they pull the trigger for Trump come election time. If anything, your thought process on this is reversed. Anyone saying they are voting for Trump is going to and anyone saying they are voting 3rd party or is undecided very well could be voting for Trump too.

You give him too much credit. He threatened to put Hillary in jail if he wins the election. I hope that sticks in her mind so when she wins she goes after his ass.
It was also really low for him to bring those women out before the debate. Funny thing is, it didn't faze Hillary at all. He's trying the same bullying tactics he used against his spineless Republican opponents and it's not working with her. I loved how he almost made Jeb Bush cry like a little girl btw, I'll give Trump points for that and for exposing how weak his opponents were.
I bet if you put Hillary and Trump in a ring and let them fight it out though, she would whoop his ass.

 

Funny thing is it must have rattled her because she lost that debate terribly and she was in a rush to go get a drink afterwards to calm her nerves. Oh and someone can tell Robot boy that the only reason I chose my avatar was to mess with liberals since they don't know anything about the origin of Pepe. They think it means something that it doesn't and its funny to watch them get all pissy.

I did see where she was excited to get on her plane and get a drink after the debates, but by all the sniffling Trump was doing, I imagine he was anxious to get on his plane and do a huge hit of coke. Hey, whatever calms their nerves. Peace brother.

Oh, the Trumpetts seem to be a whole different breed of drank-the-kool-aid Tea Party followers. I think Trump knows he's done for and is setting it up for his sycophants to de-legitimize whatever non-consertive officials get elected in November. Heaven forfend they should believe anything more than the 2nd amendment a concede to the electoral process with any grace. If the Democrats get a majority in both houses like they had for 2 years in 2008 they need to use it because bipartisanship is dead.

Oh, and poor Jeb.... He won't even be the most remembered Bush of 2016.... Billy will be....

As far as current polls go, I don't believe them. As somebody rightly said "the media has a Trump sized blind spot". They, the media, don't understand Trump supporters, they never have, they just keep trying to use the normal conventional formula with him and it doesn't work. They have written him of a couple of times now and he bounced back. The most recent example of that was after the Dem Convention when he started attacking the Khan family and the media predicted that this was the end for him and started reporting how Clinton was preparing for a landslide victory. They were wrong, just like they are wrong here. The only thing that makes this incident any different from all the others is that it is closer to the election, with about 3 weeks left to go Trump might not have enough time to bounce back.

For those saying Clinton will win by a landslide, I don't think that that is going to happen. She is as flawed a candidate as Trump, with as many incidents under her belt. The Podesta leaks being the latest. It's going to be neck and neck fight right until the end and the winner will mostly be chosen by chance, whoever is in a upswing that week will win.

For those who think Trump is just going to go away, he isn't. The NY Times has an article up today painting Trump as a sad, looser who's followers will simple walk away from him after he looses, ["On Nov. 9, the day after Trump loses, there won’t be solidarity and howls of outrage. Everyone will just walk away"]. This is really nothing more than a hit piece, probably sponsored by the Clinton Camp. Trump is not going to go away and neither are his supporters, which at this point is half of the country. They will fight back. Trump has been setting up his exit strategy for a long time now. If he looses he will claim that the election was rigged, and if you look through his Tweets today you can see that he also plans to blame the GOP establishment for not supporting him.

This is not an issue that's just magically going to be solved on election night. This election was never about Trump vs. Clinton, or Dem vs. Rep, it was about outsiders vs. insiders. It was the same in the primaries and it is the same now.

 

Polls can always be taken with a grain of salt, but when taken together it shows a pattern. Trump's run is dying the death of a thousand cuts. Landslide, probably not, and your right, he knows it and is trying to set up his "it was rigged" strategy, and to be a power player after the election. When you say followers and not supporters you are right.... But someone with a lack of morality like Trump is not someone to be followed, he should be shunned. I know the alt-right has no other option, and reality TV is their temple...but they can do better.
