Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Actually quite fun.

    how i do it:
    create new 1100x320@99dpi image
    open source image as layer
    add alpha channel
    duplicate layer
    auto white balance duplicate layer
    desaturate duplicate layer - average mode
    gaussian blur 3.0x4.0 duplicate layer
    find edge - sobel @ 1.0 black duplicate layer
    set layer mode duplicate layer "overlay"
    set layer opacity 66% duplicate layer
    create new layer from visible #1
    duplicate layer
    set layer mode "screen" visible duplicate layer #2 75%
    apply layer mask visible #2
    layer mask black > invert layer mask
    hsv gradient tool top down white>black
    add text
    add border
    stroke border set layer mode multiply @ 33% opacity
    move stroke
    save as
    resize image 550x160@99dpi compression 4 png
    export as
