  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Some people (who generally consider themselves artistic as a point of pride) do not understand the distinction between "can" and "should."

Oh not at all. I'm not disturbed by this because I think she's pushing some arbitrary and subjective boundary of decency. I'm disturbed by this because she's doing it so frivolously and without any meaningful purpose, simply for the sake of sensationalism and money. At some point she'll pull down her panties and take a big steaming dump on stage because everything else will have lost it's novelty, it'll be the last boundary to cross until she starts mutilating herself.

I never said it was violating a bound of decency. I just think it's stupid and pointless (and artless, for what that's worth).

Huh...I mean you said "can" and "should." These words aren't really synonymous with creativity, but instead with morality. But, regardless, I agree.

"Should" can imply practicality as easily as morality, and "can" simply implies ability, with no moral positive or negative moral implications whatsoever. Enough linguistics for the moment, however.
