    Man, vacuums around here is a daily necessity....the Shark and the Dyson are good vacuums, but they are better at doing different types of cleaning.....the shark cleans rugs and carpet better...is lighter....but has a tendency to fray the edges of my rugs....and the shark has a smaller foot so it can get into places the larger footed Dyson cannot....I have to spend more time on maintenance on the Shark as I so far have only had to clean the filters on the Dyson....There are fewer rugs upstairs as most if it is full carpet; therefore, the Shark is generally the upstairs vacuum and the Dyson the downstairs vacuum.....note the downstairs must be vacuumed three time as often as the upstairs. (I know, much more than you wanted to know...:lol: )

    it was a good deal, got all things for the same price as only 1 new ram memory

    Amelie hates the vacuum....will quickly leave the room and stand guard immediately relocate as I move around; whereas, Domenic is OK with it.

    I generally try to put Amelie outside when I am going to vacuum....and I think Domenic's only apprehension with the vacuum is that he is reacting to Amelie's fear/dislike for it.
