Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     reading some stuff that you probably already knew Merlin.

    Jeff Gordon:

    6 months ago 3M announced that they would be joining Hendrick Motorsports and sponsoring Gordon and the No. 24 machine. The new deal is for 2015-2017 and will make 3M the primary sponsor for Gordon in 11 races each season for the next three seasons. This new deal coupled with the Drive To End Hunger announcement means that 24 of next seasons 36 races have primary sponsors in place. Given Gordon’s deals with Axalta, Pepsi and Panasonic one would have to assume that most of the primary sponsor slots for next season are already filled.

    no idea how Gordon's curtailed schedule will affect sponsorships ... I'd imagine that sponsors wouldn't want to pay as much for races when Gordon the driver.

    Then again, I don't know for sure how the contracts are written.

    Given that, you could surmise that this year is a full go. Next year, and this entirely based on saying the contracts of Axalta, Pepsi, and Panasonic expire, Jeff could run 11 races for the next 3 years....

    possible. I'm not 100% sure they even know, but I'd imagine they provided the biggest sponsors with likely scenarios. :)
