  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Seismometer is the correct spelling. Interesting to me is that I never heard that term, but rather have always referred to them Seismographs.

    There. Clean and shiny.

The "graph" may be the reading that the "meter" produces.

I suspect that today's equipment is much more electronic intensive and the data is digitally stored as opposed to mechanically producing a graph....thus the evolution to seismometer...just a guess.

If my outside pipes burst, the leak will in a wall of my house......major hassles to fix and very $. A little time and $2 worth of water is well worth the near 100% guarantee that won't happen. ;)

We were below freezing for better than 36 hours. Attic temps were running between 22-26F on Wednesday afternoon. We are not set up for that. Yesterday and today was constant running taking temps and looking for blowouts. Oh, mainly the fire sprinklers.

Anything I have that penetrates the ground and is exposed has heat tape. On a separate circuit so it's as easy as flipping a breaker. Experience!
