    I have installed a windows vlc with wine, and it worked. I will try now to find this codec on Linux. Thanks !

    I just upgraded VLC to play it and it will play for two seconds then cut to a gray screen, nor will iskysoft convert it to another format. Any help?

    On Ubuntu, I have done this and it worked (mplayer didn't read it neither):
    sudo apt-add-repository ppa:strukturag/libde265
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install vlc-plugin-libde265
