  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    e. English language only (except for foreign book/film titles). Non-English alphabets, accents, diacritics, runes and hieroglyphs screw up the search system, and should not be used.

    google is raising hell about imagescream being an unsafe host. Last week it was imagebam on some sites .

    Sure it is one of the "advertisers", but still . . . . . .

    Picscream is having an issue with one of it's ads, but it doesn't affect phun. Just click through on Info and then click on Proceed... Picscream will fix the problem eventually.

    Visiting Phun is safe. But, since we link to and use images from Picturescream/Imagescream/whatever other host, it flags us too to prevent you from clicking through to the domain in question. So basically, don't visit the image host in question for the time being until they get it sorted out. Or, install an ad/script blocker so that the third party ad doesn't load.

    Image hosts in general. In the last month or so we've had similar reports involving Picturescream, Imagescream, Imagebam and ShareNXS. It all seems related to the same ad provider (frienads.com).
