The Attention Deficit Disorder Thread

Off to bed, Katy Perry concert tomorrow. First major event for the newly christened Gila River Arena.

 

How was the show?

 

Not as busy as I thought it would be. I figured it would be a sell out. Everybody was happy after the show though. She wasn't on the mic during the sound check (while I was in there), so I didn't actually get to hear her.

 

Do you get to watch the shows?

 

. We used to be able to watch the hockey games a long time ago, but not anymore.

 

Can't even stand at the back?

 

The bowl (where all the seats are) is closed off from the rest of the arena during events. They don't want people going in and out during events. Especially during concerts where there are light shows. When the curtains that separate the bowl from the concourse are open it's very obvious because of the light from outside shines in. Before they were closed off, we used to be able to watch games from the concourse/top of the stands.

 

I've never been to a stadium.

I've seen it in TV shows and movies, when they film in stadiums.

 

No. That's just the only thing they televise, nationally, from the arena.

The arena I work at, or just arenas in general? They've never filmed any TV shows or anything at the arena I work at (other than shows about engineering/construction).

 

I meant stadiums in general.

Makes more sense. The pictures I posted are of the specific arena (Gila River Arena) that I work at.

Bullshit. I'm sure she is your teenage dream and your heart goes off like a firework each time you see her, and you imagine you and her to be legendary lovers riding a dark horse over a double rainbow.

 

There were plenty of pictures of her around the arena.
