They might have actually have more of something, but either way I think they are just trolling. Waiting until 2am to get people riled up and keep them awake is a pretty good troll. I liked it last night too.

I mean isn't it somewhat possible that legal action can keep these from popping up? This happened with Erin Andrews in the past, as well as even some pornstars such as Melissa Midwest. It is at least somewhat possible to keep this stuff away.

I'm really not pleased that Carly Foulkes's pics haven't been released yet.

 

I don't think they have anything to release. If they do they're keeping it for personal collection like was the rumor on the original release.

 

We know they do though as they have shown the previews to quite a few of them. If you look closely at the Jennifer Lawrence previews that were out on the first or second day you will see quite a few photos and around 4 videos that have not been released. In fact I think Jennifer Lawrence's folder had 64 items in it which is way more than what they have released.

Plus of Lawrence and a few others they have shown either censored or blurry photos that clearly have nudity in them if they released the uncensored versions.

Just like the cracking/phreaking/hacking on usenet, just like happened on irc; eventually somebody lets a fucktard see the light and it screws everybody. The people that can will always get good shit and those who cant will always wait for the crumbs.

We've seen like 18 out of 64 but a lot of other pics have come out as fakes or misleading censored images, there's a lot of people trolling out there to make everyone believe there are more pics. Fingers crossed I guess

 

Well with Lawrence as an example we have at least 2 censored photos where she is guaranteed to be topless and at least 1 censored video where she is topless as well and I am sure we have not had previews to the majority of her stuff.

 

I'm still skeptical for some reason. Either way, the real question becomes is whoever is in possession of any of this content still at large and willing to release?

 

It's definitely going to change cyber security for everyone and is brining attention to the 'dark web' and its players.

 

That version of the story is incorrect. The celebrities should be thanking whoever did the leaking because otherwise nobody would know that their personal information and private pictures were floating around and being traded.

 

We should all be thankful, it's exposing a lot of issues with current security practices. It'll be interesting to see how everything was obtained.

 

Very true. Several times a day I put on news radio and TV and they're talking about all this stuff. Incredible.

 

I just saw the Jessica Brown Findlay videos and one thing really caught my attention. One of the videos is a capture of a computer screen. Does this mean that whoever hacked her had access to their webcam? Or did her boyfriend just have his computer filming the entire time and then filmed the screen with his phone? Also interesting is that the videos are from 2012 so this was probably circulating privately for two years before it became public. I find that really scary.

 

Some cases there might be malware involved, videos obtained via screen capture or similar.

Some were cloud or similar storage intrusions.

I wouldn't be surprised if some were cases where people had access to physical hardware whether because they had a personal relationship with these people or because they're IT/support roles. All you need is a copy of someone's iTunes backup of their phone to get picture.

Social engineering was definitely at play in some, where people gained access to information.

But it really is out of a movie or paperback thriller to have an underground ring of people trading content such as these pictures
