I feel quite deflated now...... Was looking forward to another night of rampantly flicking from tab to tab waiting to see where the next new image was posted, then swapping back to see if a better quality one appeared elsewhere..... Wore me out Sunday..!!

Technology if a fantastic thing; unless you're a celebrity with compromising photos on a device that can be hacked of course...!!! (they never heard of a portable hard drive and a safe..??)

 

So were there more then one mckayla maroney leaked pic? I was hoping to see duff nude. So is the FBI going to try to haunt down reddit and who ever else leaked the mckayla pictures? And would people get in trouble by looking at them?

 

I think the Candice Swanepoel pics could be as dirty as Upton's. Hopefully, if they surface.

As far as viewing, it would be a tougher case.

For this particular case they would have to prove that a person knowingly downloaded and/or distributed pornographic content of a minor. As I've stated before, the age of McKayla can be debated by a good lawyer if the questionable pics aren't timestamped somehow. Then, they have to prove the content was sexual. Simply posing nude isn't necessarily sexual. If it were, many parents would be arrested for taking pics of their children w/o shirts on. The debate stems from what is artistic vs. pornographic nudity. The law indicates that the poses of the minors have to be sexual in nature. That is a grey area. Clearly sexual poses are where the vagina is spread and/or there is some time of insertion. I'm not sure if any of the pics floating around are like this. This legal debate/headache is why many sites are just removing the content.

I know about this b/c it was debated years ago by a certain photographer of a popular teen modeling site. He faced CP charges, but he won the court case. Since then, there have been many teen sites (<18) with "slips".

 

i would like to see the non nude pics. everybody just keeps posting the same pics over and over. i know there are more than just the nudes that are out there

From my perspective half of these so called celebrities are fringe actors or singers. I doubt we see anymore material as the FBI announced they're working the case. The cool thing was when phun crashed. Everyone knew where to go to see these pictures.

 

What makes these pictures any different than the literal millions of girls whose stolen naked pictures are already spread around the net? That's including the one or two that may even be on this site.

 

I think it's like the comparison between non-celeb and celeb deaths. Usually, only those close to the situation show empathy. However, when it affects a popular person in the public arena, the general population tends to jump on board with their 2 cents.

Another note, is anyone in the media showing empathy/outrage towards the guys who had their privates exposed? Or is this another gender double-standard? The news streams I've seen have only focused on the women. I don't remember if there was much backlash when Brad Pitt's nudes hit the net years ago. What about Greg Oden, Grady Sizemore, or any other male athlete that had nudes leak?

Take a poll on how Greg Oden measures up? What would be the backlash if they said this about one of the recent celeb leaks?

You know, honestly, it always blows my mind when people proclaim proudly that they lack empathy.

You know, it doesn't have to be a simple matter of feeling bad or looking at the pictures. People are actually complex enough to do both at the same time.

I feel very bad for Jennifer Lawrence and Victoria Justice and Kate Upton and all the others. There's no two ways about this: Their privacy was grotesquely violated in a way that, if it happened to your mother or sister or wife or daughter, you'd be in a killing rage.

On the other hand, I've downloaded a shitload of those pictures, and looked at them. I've watched Jessica Brown Findlay's videos. I know full well that if she knew I'd seen them, she'd hate me, and I watched them -- and saved them -- anyway.

But I don't kid myself that this is her fault. I don't kid myself that these women weren't victims of a horrible crime. I do kid myself into the weak, lame, bullshit self-justification that, since there's almost no likelihood that any of these women will ever be directly affected by me personally viewing this material, I'm not doing them any more harm... But let's be real. I'm just being a hypocrite, and doing something I know is wrong because my own enjoyment is more important to me than what's right.

Almost nobody uses strong security. It's not because they're stupid. It's because it's hard, and it's because they haven't been educated about it.

And, as I'm always saying, nobody but nobody with an account on this board is the least bit better than the women we come here to see naked. Never mind that you're not better than Jennifer Lawrence or Kate Upton -- you're not better than Courtney Stodden or Akira Lane or Farrah Abraham. (Okay, you're probably better than Farrah Abraham, because you're probably a lot smarter and a lot more honest. But you're not better because she's made porn.) And neither, of course, am I. I'm here too, fapping to the naked hotties.

It's worrisome to me to see here how many people can only experience sexuality through contempt. It's like some people can't get it up for a woman without loathing her. What's up with that?

Anyway, I'm wandering a bit from the point. I'm in no position to scold anybody for looking at these leaked pics. Shit I can't even blame anyone for wanting to see more. I know there names that haven't been met on that list that I want to see.

But at least have the decency to acknowledge that these women are victims of a real crime, and deserving, while you fap, of your sympathy.
