I hope not.....I don't care what she picks out as she is paying for it....but it does have to have certain physical properties, such as rust and corrosion proof....like solid stainless steel or brass....or some other metal alloy that has the same properties....all my current and original outside door hinges are rusty.....and yes, she picked them out.

 

No matter what, I know your results will be excellent.

 

I also want commercial grade and not residential grade.....none of the residential grade knobs and locks on the outside have lasted. I have had to replace most of them already.....and I am getting really tired of all the f'ing maintenance I have to do.

 

The climate really gets to your stuff down there, doesn't it?

 

I don't know.....never lived anywhere else. It is not like we live on the coast where salt air is an issue....the heat and humidity make for mold on the north side of buildings, but other than that, I don't know of any other issues that are climate oriented.

 

Before air conditioning I remember as a child that mildew on all leather products was an issue, but AC ended this problem.

 

I was thinking rain, humidity and rust.

 

I hear the dogs announcing the arrival of Thoretta, so I will break for a bit to walk the dogs.

whew. good work out today!

changed like 10 breakable couplings on runway lights. changed 60 of them last year to our new ones from the plastic pvc ones. busy day
