    This is our second day with no rain....ground still moist though....next 4 days have an average of 75% chance of t-storms, so I am sure we will get some more soon.

    We have no pitching period. It appears we have the oldest roster of any team in both leagues, wassup with that?

    Isolated w/ a 40% chance here. Didn't look like rain so I watered in 100 lbs of fertilizer. :dunno:

    The baby toads are out and about again this year. One of the adults likes to hang out right outside the entrance door at night. Gotta be careful not to step on it.

    Our adult toads are about the size of a chicken egg.....don't see too many small ones....I guess they hang out near the ponds the tadpoled from until they are a bit larger...:dunno:

    Generally, if they are longer than they are round, they are frogs....our toads are all medium to dark brown and always stay on the ground....the frogs will climb trees and walls....and are usually green.

    Amalie does not pick up toads any more thank goodness as when she did she always foamed at the mouth for about 5 minutes....part of the toad's defense.

    Indeed....there is an invader toad from either Africa or South America....get huge, like 3 to 5 pounds....and its skin secretions are deadly to other animals....have not seen any of those here, but have seen reports in far southern Florida.
