I think the race beat the rain by about 24 hours or less. Good timing.

 

I was a little concerned early this morning, but by noon it appeared that there would be no rain near the track until this evening at the earliest.

 

They had a little bit of a problem getting started today with two cautions for crashes within the first 5 green flag laps.....Danica was dinged up a bit in the second one and later had gear shifting problems, so, given that she did a reasonably good job today.

 

Getting t-storms here this afternoon....not much rain so far.

Sounds like you could use a rest from the rain, Thore.

 

Seem to be getting one today so far as only about 0.1 inches....I have only caught the edge of two t-storms so far.

 

My 'Net connection's been sticking. Fooled with it a little. Maybe that'll help.

 

My new PC, internet connection, etc. has been fairly stable....knock on wood!

 

I'll just tap my head.

 

I still need to go to the HP site and download a window 8 driver for my old scanner....and I need to work on my video also. I don't have a good marriage between my high end graphics card and my 27 inch Samsung monitor....I get some random pixelation.

 

Not a good sign when saw dust comes out of your ears.

We're in for heat, humidity and rain all this week, according to the local news. :?

 

Afternoon t-storms here thru Tuesday.....then normal weather with a 20% chance of a pop up t-storm....with temps in the lower 90's.

 

We hit 91 here today before the t-storms started.....then an 18 degree drop in an hour.

 

Local TV sports just showed the race highlights.

 

Thoretta has arrived from work and we need to discuss supper, etc.....so I shall be AFK for a while......BBL
