    Great doctor visits this week.....leg is OK with just a few more days of bandages required, IV port removed from the base of my neck, and I shall be able to take a shower and shave tonight! :biggrin:

    was a gorgeous day here at work! got up to 3C/36F! put my jacket away. was only using my sweater and safety vest while fueling planes today. just a lovely day!

    I am ecstatic about my leg and getting the port out of my neck....I need a few days to get over the loose bowels from the antibiotics and things will be pretty much back to normal. Further, testing indicated that my well controlled diabetes had little to do with my issues, but rather a significant hemitoma that created the breeding ground for the infection....the hematoma is an internal bleeding that was causing most of the swelling and acted as a block to my immune system from dealinig with the bacteria that somehow got to the pile of congealed blood. :dunno: Seems this all could have been avoided if the blood pool had been drained some two months ago. Shit! :?

    hey that is progress! I remember being able to get my arm out of the half cast I had, then getting the staples out of my arm. it's progress!

    the mental progress of things healing is half the battle too Brother!

    then getting your bowels back in order and your appetite back was huge too.
