a whole bunch of sites that were unaccessible. some local Swedish sites were full speed, facebook also worked, but sites like keepbusy, break and phun were nowhere to be found

 

someone must have made a mistake with something

There was a problem with a trans-Atlantic cable that affected a lot of US to EU traffic. It was apparently some kind of scheduled job that went awry.

Hi Thore! How are ya today?

 

Doing pretty good....just got back from getting new blood sugar test strips so now I can test here at the house. Had to go by that doctor this morning so they could see my unit and get the necessary product details to call in a prescription....cost me $30 for 100 (month supply) with insurance that would have cost me almost $140 without it. Also had the home nurse come by today and change the bandages, including rotar-rooter and repacking .... ouch ..... had to take pain meds afterwards. The long care wound doctor's office did not call me back about an appt, so will have to call them again tomorrow. Feeling good today and feeling optimistic that this ordeal will not last for ever.

 

So far, the wound nurse will be back late morning tomorrow (Tuesday), a post hospitalizatiion appointment with my regular doctor mid afternoon Wednesday, and a late morning visit with my IV/antibiotic doctor Thursday. I still that the long term wound care doctor's appoint to establish sometime this week.......keeping me busy!

 

That sounds like a lot of stuff to keep track of! :?

 

Yeah....it is hard to be lazy and keep up with it all.

Just tested blood sugar....93! (that is very good)

Yep.....one time in the hospital it was 160....that lead to the first shot of insulin I every had. After a few days though it settle back down to acceptable levels....I just need to work on keeping it down.
