Well, I can't get the bandage wet....so either wrap or keep that leg out of the shower some how.

 

I will be back when I am a little cleaner.

 

Get a plastic bag and some duct tape

 

yeah that's what I used Thore, a plastic garbage bag and tape on my arm when I wanted to wash up after my surgery.

 

If it was just my leg, plastic sheets with tape would be easy, but I also have that main line shunt by my neck that I have to keep dry also. I just used a large tumbler to pour water over my head and held my head down with my leg outside the tub. Then just wet rag washed all other parts.

 

Now I need to find some real food!

I have a beef roast in the oven since 3pm here. going to bring it to the Outlaws for supper. lol

then Lisa and I want to go to the Cabin later tonight.

I have an appointment at 10 am tomorrow with the doctor that is going to handle my post hospital treatment. I think I get all of the equipment and supplies for the at home antibiotic IVs I need to prepare myself. I may also get an idea as to how long I can expect to be on the IVs.

The TV and channel selection was pretty good at the hospital.....just not sports on during the week that I was interested in watching....

 

It will also be nice to be able to sleep tonight without being awakened every hour by nurses and medical technicians.

 

and all the damn beeping and gadgets going off there Thore!
