  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    On Windows 8 you have tiles after booting up, you can switch that to a layout that's more like XP and Vista

    On my pc that died i had XP, when i bought a new one it had Vista on it. I was just unlucky i couldn't get a free upgrade to Windows 7

    I think I know what you are talking about.....right now it just takes one mouse click to go to a desk top that looks similar to XP. I am still working on arranging my desktop as the process in doing so is a little different than with XP......but I will get there eventually. Mean while, it keeps me busy and out of the local bars....:rofl:

    just sent 2 of my Guys home early. they are all done and told them just put in a full 8 hours on their time sheet, they got the overhead door done early so told them to take off early.

    oh if I can help it when it's slower I like to send the Guys home a little early there Thore.

    we are all caught up and all the sked flights are done. if there is a surprise plane for fuel I have the on call fuelers cell handy.

    So far, it seems the Windows 8.1 does not come with my favorite three games....free cell, hearts, and solitaire.....and I can't figure out how to get them from the XP machine to this one. :thinks2:
