  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

It doesn't seem like the best business decision. 98% of The target audience is dead or only has VHS

As someone that owns a DVD/VHS recorder and VHS recorder, I can tell you VHS is still 100% more reliable than DVD. I can tell you DVDs (DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, and DVD-RW) can be very temperamental. Sometimes they play prefectly, sometimes they don't. Then there's the skipping and titling ( small red and green titles appear on the TV screen) that shows up from time to time, I've never encounter any of these problem on VHS, tracking lines, sure, but I can live with that. I believe DVD tech still has a lot of bugs in the system and the recordable DVDs have even more bugs. If you have a choice between keeping an old VHS recorder and upgrading to a DVD recorder I would seriously keep the old VHS, it will save you a lot of headaches. Get the DVD player just for watching new movies, but keep in mind the format is buggy as all Hell.
