    It wasn't space junk. The lights lasted for over an hour. The official explanation was flares. I've seen flares in person, they are nothing like that.
    Speaking of space junk, I saw a meteor last week (I had never seen one in person). It must've been small because it wasn't very bright, but I saw it break into two pieces.

    Flares? That's clearly bullshit, but then "official" explanations often are. Probably a spy satellite or other military hardware they didn't want to identify.

    I've seen a couple meteors, they weren't very close though. Neither of them broke up.

    Actually, come to think of it, I have seen a few meteors. They normally look white, but this one was sort of a blue/green color.

    I saw it at the arena. I was facing south looking slightly to the east. It looked like it was traveling Northeast. One of my co-workers thought it might have been from a firework, but there was no sound & it was a single line.
