Well, Jeopardy's on, the Tigers play in a half hour, and another night begins.

Miami vs North Carolina starts shortly....

 

For $21 he has a round trip ticket via Gray Hound bus. We have to take him to the bus station a little before 11 tonight.

 

$21?! :shock:

 

The bus was crowded coming up....he said it was a miserable trip, so this is probably the last time he uses the bus.....will drive in the future.

Linda went down for a day and took the bus....she said it was fine, but she did not have to pay or any taxi fees. Steven will have to pay a taxi to get from the bus station to his apartment complex.

 

That's a bargain.

 

How long is the drive?

 

Yeah, it is really cheap. Jonathan used that service to get to and from Orlando when flying out. Worked out well for him...and me as I did not have to spend $90 on gas and over 4 hours of driving to take and pick him up. And about $25 in road tolls.

 

One way is two hours door to door.

 

To get that bus ticket price, you have to order on-line and in advance.

When I lived in Bumblefuck, Colorado, it would take me about that long to drive to the nearest Walmart, which I seldom did more than once a month. Along the entire route there was only one stop sign (southbound only) and a traffic light at the intersection in Montrose where the Walmart was located. It was usually green.

Approximately how many miles was a one-way trip?

 

It was 75 miles each way, some of it through the San Juan River canyon, and then over the Dallas Divide, one of the most beautiful places on Earth, imo, and then into the barley growing region of southwestern Colorado.
