    I'm sore, but I'm fine for right now. Luckily somebody reported the person's license plate # to one of the cops. I wasn't able to get through on my radio in time to have the cops stop the person.

    Thanks for the good thoughts everyone. I'm sore, but I'm okay. It comes with the territory when you're job is traffic. It's not the first time I've been hit, but it is the first time I was actually knocked off my feet. The person who hit me actually punched the gas and aimed for me. Although, luckily he started from a dead start, so he wasn't going very fast when he hit me.

    My actual job is directing traffic. I do a lot more than that, but that's the actual job. It happened during egress (after the game when everyone is exiting). Some guy didn't want to wait in traffic and decided to blow through the cones that were in place. The lane which he entered was closed, and I was in the middle of it, in the process of picking everything up. He saw me trying to tell him that the lane was closed and decided to floor it and hit me, instead of waiting in traffic for a couple minutes like every other car does.
