  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Have you checked the login details that your host gave you against what you have entered into FileZilla? Sometimes you might have to tweak the hostname depending on how they listed the details for you. For example, if your domain is mysite.com, the server is probably listening for ftp connections at ftp.mysite.com. So, maybe try both in the host field and see what works.

    And, are you entering a port number? With the FileZilla you can typically leave it blank and it just use the default 21. But, if you are trying to connect via sftp, you'll want port 22 (or possibly something else if your host uses a non-standard port for ssh).

    I'm trying to connect with FileZilla. Putting ftp. before the hostname doesn't work. I used to have no problem with this. It's been a while since I tried using it, but my login details haven't changed. It just keeps timing out at the PASV stage.
