  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I've never used HTML-kit and had never heard of it until now, but it looks like it might have an ftp client built-in. Though, whatever isn't working with Filezilla (probably connection settings that you're using) would probably trip you up in HTML-kit as well. So, I'd start there rather than trying a new program. Try using whatever you have and check your username, password, host, port etc.

    Whatever's broken Filezilla isn't a problem with HTML-Kit. I'm looking at my root directory right now with it. I just can't figure out how to use it to get a folder from my computer into the directory.

    It looks like you have to right click the folder to get the option to upload files to it. Which ... probably would've thrown me off as well since most ftp clients show you both local and server side-by-side so you can just drag it over.

    Ah. So I have to manually upload the files in the folder instead of just the folder itself. I can't figure out though how to create the folder in the root directory in order to start uploading the files to it.
