Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I opened it up....took a look.....then called my HVAC company to see if they worked on gas hot water systems, and they did. He came by about 1 PM and lit it. I just did not know what I was looking at, really could not see anything very well, and with my old body, getting down on my knees and look up was just too damn difficult. They know that they will get the job to replace the heater when the timne comes, but he said it appears mine has a few more years of life left....it is 14 yo. I was surprised when he said no charge, but if it goes out again to call him and remind him to bring a thermo-couple with him.

    Yeah, it was hot.....I am sitting here waiting for the energy to take a shower. :lol:
