Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Over here there is fierce competition between cable and satellite dish TV/internet providers.....I think that is an element in the cable providers good customer service. It would be really easy to get mad at bad service and switch to satellite provider.

    Mine does to the point of having me sit trough an hour long seminar on phone etiquette. 1) the only ringing phone I answer is my cell 2) if I learn it, it will be expected, thus taking from what Ireally need to be doing 3) after 12 in the service industry, 3 years in the medical field, and almost 6 years at my current position, what can you really tell me about answering a phone professionally and courteously.

    They don't give a shit. There is so many people buying so much shit, they don't care about losing a few customers. A friend of mine works for the cable company, he said they would rather lose a customer than waste man hours trying to keep one.

    Satellite internet isn't cheap and you may need special hardware. Also if you rent a place the owner of that building may say that you can't put up a dish

    You are so right! Mine isn't cheap, has limitations, and is quirky during bad weather. However, it's much better than dial-up, which would be the only other option.

    the phone company said that they'd replace the cable to my house almost 10 years ago, but temporarily changed a few meters of it so that it could be working again until it could be replaced (it's been repaired once after that too) The only thing done is that I put a nail on the wall to hang the temp cable on so that it wouldn't lay on the ground and get covered by ice.
