Work sucked

 

What happened?

 

We lost a couple of key guys over the past few months. The new guys arent making the cut. Friday night is the worst time for subpar performance.

 

I think that's gonna happen to me Saturday night, Maj.

 

Well that sucks. :?

 

Its the worst. The upside for me is that I make more money. The downside is more stress and aggravation. The worst part is that, aside from the driving, a monkey could do my job. These guys are really having difficulty. We can't afford to let them go. We dont have enough manpower to fill the shifts without them.

 

What do these guys pull in on a weekend night?

 

These guys? I don't really know, but I can't imagine it's much. Take tonight, I worked 5 and a half hours and moved 700 dollars worth. One of those guys moves about 150-200. Its not all about the monetary amount. The amount of orders can also help in making money. Even still, I was moving between 4-8 orders to their 1-2. I made about 150 tonight.

 

So you doubled their work, at least. Wow.

 

Yep. This needs to get sorted soon. This is our slow season. Business will pick up in the fall and winter. I will be so fucking stressed. If I commit to a job, I want to be the best I can be at it. I will put pressue on myself to pick up the slack.

I took this job out of necessity when I got laid off. I kept this job because of the stress free nature. The current conditions are interfering with that. Such an annoyance.

Oh well, fuck it. It is what it is.

 

3 am....im going to bed.
