How is the shoulder ?

 

It is better but still sore and achy....I cannot do much with that arm....had to mow my yard yesterday pretty much one handed. I have done this before and it takes about 3 weeks to get thing about 75% healed and 3 months to get back to about 98%.

I bought the replacement parts for the bike that I broke in the fall....over $200. When I got home, I took the time to get the lift side step out from under my long work bench, put them in place, and then put the bike back up on the lift. No problems, but as the heat index was already almost 40C, I will wait until tomorrow morning to do the replacements. The clutch lever may be problematic....may have to read the shop manual to see how I can get sufficient slack in the cable to allow for the replacement. The other item is very easy.

Things take a bit longer at our age, does they not ?

At that temp i would do ... Nothing !
Maybe i should buy a Harley too, as you probably can help me a lot with it !

Have you seen a doctor about it ?

 

No. I have had problems with this shoulder starting from when I was 12 and tore the rotor cuff.....ever since then, a hard blow to the shoulder caused the tear to reopen....it is painful, but it just takes time for it to heal. I would see a doctor if the symptoms were different than before....like it still hurt as much as it did the day of the injury.

 

What is the story on you getting back to work, Magge?

 

Since you was 12 some new stuff has happened in the medical ways of doing things !
Go see a doc ... you old fool !

 

Seems i am in the last selection ... what ever that means ?
Hopefully next week will bring some results from them Bastards in the commune !
Just makes me angry how slow things works in there ...
They have no idea how sad and bad this waiting is !

 

I have had it checked since then.....confirmed the situation....their recommendation is to leave it alone as it is healing after injury by itself. Surgery would only be recommended if it was not healing....also, even with surgery, a fall such as the one I had two days ago would most likely just tear the rotor cuff again....and, I hate surgeries....I have had way too many already in my life....surgery is a last resort type of a thing for me.

Thanks, Magge. Everyday it is better....no longer in constant pain now...it just needs more time, then things will be back to normal.

 

I am trying to get up the energy and desire to vacuum the downstairs....need to get up the dog hair and the sand they track in...

 

I do have a few little things I need to do now....back in 15 minutes...

 

Do them easy !
I myself need to make some food ... as in pasta with Bolognese sauce ...
