Can't you place something like between the line?

That way you can clamp the line on both sides but not having to cut the line and replace it with new one

Yes, you can do that and I probably would if removing the tank was something I did very often. I have only had to do it twice in 12 years. Plus, there are compression clamps on all the hose fittings.....removing these clamps most often damage the rubble fuel lines. The total length of the fuel line connecting the two tanks is only about a foot long, so replacing it only costs about a dollar. I bought about 3 feet of it last time I did that, so I have enough here for two more replacements.

 

I would suspect that would be the case. :biglaugh:

 

The halogen bulb that may need replacing is at least 5 years old, so that is why I think that is what the problem is. The light is one of a pair of running lights located rather low to the ground and access is through the bottom. I will want to put the bike on my pneumatic lift so I can raise the bike up to get the work area at eye level.....much easier than having to lay down on the ground, etc.

 

Every now and then i get a strange look when i'm at a store or something like that

When i need to have something done with my car then i take it to my auto mechanic and he deals with it. He is quite cheap
