    My previous shepard loved the water. I got him when I was renting a trailer in a trailer park...we were right next to the retention pond, so Thore was in the water from the time he was a pup.....and yes, I was named after him...:lol:

    He was the first dog I have ever seen that would actually swim underwater.....he would swim down to the bottom to fetch rocks.

    I took him and BranDee to our family lake very often....and except for in winter, would bath them there. Before his bath, Thore could actually float in the water without swimming....due to his thick fur holding little tiny air bubbles....after his bath, which removed the body oils from his coat, he could not float anymore.

    I'll never know if my dogs could do all that. There's a pond in the center of my apt. complex, but if I let the dogs go in there I'd be kicked out. :lol:

    I would not let my dogs in our family lake now as there are gators in it. If I lived out there, I would solve that problem.

    I just changed key boards.....went with a cheap, know thrills $15 Logitech.....I like the feel of it much better than then expensive, lighted keys, more f'ing functions than Carter has little liver pills......

    Both are Logitech and got them at Office Depot.....there is nothing wrong with the expensive one, but I like the feel and the lack of clutter of the cheap one. I also discovered that most of my typing problems occur when I have a tab open with continual updates, like the live leader boards for NASCAR races. :oops:...:lol:
