What happened to "amateurs from me to you"

why was the thread amateurs from me to you deleted? it's only one of the most popular threads on the forum and it's gone?

 

I would like to know why as well

 

Amateur Model Forum Rules 3.b. UNDER-AGE nude or pornographic images will NOT be tolerated! The practice of posting naked pics of anyone thought to be under the age of 18 is strictly forbidden. The forum-wide rule on the age of all subjects in images is 16+, and it doesn't simply apply to celebrities. If Staff have any doubts about the age of any girls portrayed in a post we may delete the entire post even if it's just one pic that proves questionable. We don't have to prove they're underage, we just have to assume it.

too many pics of questionable nature in my book.

 

I don`t think we have that problem in this thread.
But there are others with that issue.

Ditto. I'm sure it was mentioned in thread, as well. Must admit I cut down on checking the thread after a few...

 

I could be wrong here but my guess would be that all or most of the pictures were taken from social media sites that don't seem to care.... I find it a little odd that the thread made it a year or so after the rule started to be strictly enforced and all of a sudden there's an issue with the thread.

 

we are not without blame here. We havent considered underage pictures to be a problem until recently when there have been some comments in the celebsection has brought the subject to our attention. Often it has been Pictures of parents with kids and comments has been towards daughters that are almost 16. So we have to get a grip of the situation.

I always found most of the pictures posted were very questionable in nature. I stopped going in that thread long ago because I felt like I was looking at high school freshmen a lot.

 

Maybe when someone gets pictures from a candid photos site they could leave the watermark on the pictures? Those sites have to abide to the rules of USC 18 2257. :2cent:

 

Mods may be slow to act on a situation, but don't mistake slow for stupid. I warned posters in this forum some time ago about our thoughts on underage nudes and for a while most people seemed to take heed. Recently, Flip made the same vow to go after content of questionable origin, but is determined to be more proactive about it. Let this be a warning to everyone: if your thread has questionable content there's a very good chance it won't survive Flip's discernment. Live and learn folks, live and learn.
