Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I have finished watching the collection of comics from the old Ed Sullivan show....would have been from the late '50's to early '60's. Just finishing up now is clips from the old Jimmy Dean show with the likes of young Hank Williams Sr., Johnny Cash, Minnie Pearle etc. May be a bit before you were watching TV.

    Oh, I know you have probably more than heard of them....I was referring to the actual television shows. There were many more, but a chore for me to remember much less spell the names even close to correct.

    When I was a little kid, I watched TV after dinner and saw some of those. They stayed with me because little kids are like sponges, and I was no different.

    One of my favorite shows was Lassie, which I'm sure contributed to my love for dogs - and other animals - today. :)

    I remember that show also....back when the little boy's name was Jeff.....then his grandfather died and his widowed mother had to sell the farm and move into "the city." The farm was bought by Timmy's parents. I read training book written by Weatherwax, the trainer of Lassie (many) and other famous hollywood dogs. I still remember several of the techneacs and use them today.
