my wife was mugged by a thief ans suffered a broken arm, along with cash, phone and other belongings.

Well that certainly explains why you reacted like that, but it's no justification.

It's a very primitive and barbaric way of viewing a complex social issue.

The fact that you want to KILL a person because he is taking your PROPERTY, goes to prove how deranged your values have become as a human being. That thief wanted money, he did not want to hurt anyone. Therefore, I would sooner have a cup of tea with that thief before I ever consider getting anywhere near you...you might kill me if I steal a spoon of sugar from off your table.

Instead of stepping back for a second and asking what could drive a person to do something like this and what we can do to change the situation that motivated the person to do this...you're perfectly satisfied with just killing the person out right.

This stems purely out of a viciously ignorant capsule of hatred, a desire to seek vengeance.

I didn't call people shitty. I called the decisions people make shitty. I call the society that makes people act like this shitty. Both the thievery, the homicidal hatred and the children who try to emulate celebrities.

 

You are ridiculous... nobody wants to kill anyone over stolen items.. it's the POINT that goes over your head... if they don't steal my stuff then they can CHOOSE to LIVE... choose life.. choose to not steal/rape/assault

The so-called 'future society' that we currently live in is a complete fucking joke... I was attacked by an angry racist black man while I was sitting down drawing a picture.. never saw it coming and I was at work with less than 30 days on the job so I could be fired for any reason...he broke my orbital bone, damaged my vision and caused me to have to live in pain for the rest of my life.. I never got a notice to go to court and he got 10 days in jail... some amish guy got 15 years for cutting beards off other amish men... beards grow back and there is no pain involved with the hair being cut.. just the problem of their religious beliefs... I would trade places with any of those 'amish victims' anyday. If I had the chance to go back again and carry a gun at work and shoot and kill that racist idiot I would gladly kill him and live a nice pain free life without any feeling of guilt for ridding the world of one vile person.

Prisons do not reform people.. in fact most of the time the people who go for a long time have a better quality of life inside the prison... free health care, 3 square meals, a protected environment where crime happens less than it does in the real 'free' world that they normally reside in.. a library..etc. Criminals do not pay the price they should for most crimes and the system is viewed as a joke by many.

The absolute DUMBEST part of all this is that the system/society and most of all IDIOTS like you want to PROTECT these low-lives.. you take a criminal who is the FIRST person to do WRONG and then you want the innocent victim to treat the criminal with respect and let them do what they do, you want to 'protect' the criminal by punishing the victim for retaliation/self-defense/etc.... if the CRIMINAL chooses to do the crime then they choose to risk their own life and I would be one happy person if they all got killed and the victims never saw a day of punishment nor was able to be sued or anything!

Prisons cost $... $35,000, $50,000 maybe $85,000 per year to keep one person in prison.. and for what?
