mostly it has to do with the rubbish that everyone posts. i plow through page after page of gun posts and other stupid shit. i found it was really nothing more than a shout box for idiots that had no other outlet. how many times can i read about obama sucking and gun control before i say, ok im done.

 

on a side note, i must acknowledge my miss pick on the Denver game
i was under the impression that they intended to play defense at some point during the game
im sure you can understand how something like this can happen
what with a team being more or less professional
and half of that team failing time and again.

but it was an interception in the overtime that will be remembered as the losing play

Denver Broncos - specifically the quarterback Peyton Manning - threw the ball pretty well, the opposing team - the Baltimore Ravens - matched their throws. So tie game went into 2 overtimes where Broncos QB made a major mistake throwing an interception. And thus the Broncos lost.

how many times did they broncos let Baltimore convert on 3rd and long. it was an awful display of defense from them. Paton probably thought, damn there aint no way this defense is going to hold up against tom brady, and there aint no way i want to loose to him again. fuck it ill just throw a pick and call it done.

 

Well, a couple of Denver defensive backs are going to lose their jobs after giving up that late touchdown to tie the game with less than 40 secs left. Also, the call to take a knee with 30 secs left by Coach Fox was really questionable to me.

Niners taking the victory formation, and a new playoff legend is born - holy smokes, Colin Kapernick had one hella of a game.

With exception to the one pick-6 he threw, here's his stat-line: 17 for 31 passing percentage, 263 yards passing + 183 yards rushing, 2 passing touchdowns + 2 rushing touchdowns. That's a total of 446 yards gained and 4 touchdowns scored... BY ONE GUY.

Oh and he helped the Niners set a new team playoff record for total yards at 581 (previous record was 550). Keep in mind this team set a new 49er playoff record for total yards. More than Montana-led 49ers, more than Young-led 49ers. Take it with a grain of salt tho since pass defenses can't really play REAL defense anymore.

EDIT UPDATE: Woah... they're interviewing the wife of the 49ers coach on my local sports station. She's quite the captivating cougar. :mouth_water:

 

He deserves a hot wife, and I wouldn't call Kaepernick a legend quite yet, if they lose next week it will all be forgotten

hey now, I didn't call Kap a legend... and that Green Bay defense isn't that great. Still, 446 total yards by one dude - that's pretty damn amazing.

 

You said a legend was born, I figured you meant Kaepernick. It was a hell of a performance, I was definitely not expecting it, but I was also rooting against them because Im still bitter about them beating the Pats.
