    a very simple capture with a bit of lighting and a 10% edge. subdued text since i know he likes that style. I guess I could have added "she's mine 2013" in there but a lot of text might have mucked up the overall feel of her looking up at his name while laying in bed.

    Take much time? Looks dead on.

    Where possible (very dark hair, very light or white background) I like to cheat doing this, by separating the fringe of hair from the rest and putting it on a separate layer in multiply mode there's no tedious cutting out to do :shifty:

    with large contrast images i use color to alpha, with lows contrast i use channel masking and just old fashioned layer separation. Ive never been especially good at the channel masking, you had much experience with it?

    btw, that darker line isnt a grafix fuck up, it's actually a pole outside the window showing up as a reflection in the window.

    never really intended for this to become a sig, just started messing round with colour matching and trying to insert object realistically into images. spent quite a while working on different effects and decided to make it a sig

    I love that you don't saturate too much and fade the colours. It gives it a really unique and professional feel. I think I use too much saturation.

    I also love the very subtle border on that, even though the text is stellar it doesn't stick out, it merges perfectly with the entire work.
