Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Teams should leave names with the city if it doesn't fit the new city, Lakers in LA, Jazz in Utah, Grizzlies in Memphis, those off the top of my head, should have been left in the original cities.

    They should, but the thinking is (from a business perspective) it's easier to build on an existing brand that has some recognition rather than building one from the ground up that no one knows. Worked for the Raiders when they moved to LA back in the late 80's

    No other city would want that name:D

    I understand the logic, it just leads to some stupid names, but the raiders taking the name is fine, both cities are on the cost so a pirate theme fits, now if it was the Oklahoma city raiders, that would be stupid.
