    I happened upon this pic and thought it'd make a good sig for our resident ample bosomed cat lover. It was actually quite annoying to edit into the phun sig size specs.

    Im in the same boat Jamms. Animated gifs have been kickin my butt for years. I can make simple ones, but they always suck.

    Just take basic gif's from the net and play with them. Less is more at first I always think. The more you play with them you learn, thats always good:D

    I'm still crap at 'em but I always use After Effects for animated sigs. Ulead just isn't very suitable for them because of the lack of editing options. For best image results I render a Qtime movie in AE and create the gif in Photoshop. I also have another little program called animation shop which is useful for culling frames and getting the size down further.

    When i make a sig with a gif i use Photoshop. As far as i can remember i was one of the first to mention animation shop at phun.

    All i did was save the gif, open a new file (500 x 160) ,pasted the frames and moved it a bit.

    huh. I wonder what domain tools imgnook uses, I'll do a whois.

    got it. just had to whitelist a referrer they insist on now I see it fine. I guess they dont like nulls hitting their domain.
