Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

I'm not so sure about that. Most indigenous Americans were animists, they worshipped Nature and the sanctity that it held. The Incas and Mayans held to blood worship, but they didn't go looking for victims outside their own groups. They sacrificed themselves because they were all a holy people. Europeans looked at outsiders as inferior in every way. That wasn't the case with Native Americans. Different, yes. As savages? No.

I think Jay is still a non-start, we'll see. If he and Smith don't start it will be D vs D. Could be interesting, or could be boring.

Ancient Europeans also worshiped Nature.......everything you described came after that with development and conquest........Native Americans did not have that much social, scientific and warring development so they still stayed in the earlier stage of geographical self content.........not to mention that they were completely separated from other parts of the world by oceans that they did not know how to cross........they had small and sparse neighbours......with whom I'm sure they did fight for all the usual things......but in the general sense there was simply no opportunity for them to develop into a power hunger vast empire.....had there been.....I'm reasonably sure that they would have.

I think you're overlooking monotheism and the arrogant cult of personality that developed as a result of it. Even the most powerful of ancient Americans never felt compelled to impose their ideology on their neighbors, even when it was well within their ability to do so.

As a rule, you only chat extensively with yay and grims. For the rest of us it's like pulling teeth most times to keep you engaged.
    To a certain extent, true.

Monotheism is a evolution of polytheism........1 can simply say that Native Americans did not evolve to that point.....nor were the circumstances right for such an evolution as there was in Eastern Europe.

The ideology you are talking about developed because of such a 1 sided evolution.....the people that evolved quite naturally looked down on the people that did not.

You're making an assumption based on your Eurocentric view. To this day, even after everything that has transpired with Native Americans and their contact with Europeans, they still (in the main) reject your presumptions. Even Christian Indians have no truck with imperialism. They've adopted Christianity within the context of their own deeply held beliefs handed down through the ages. Face it Jack, not all cultures are out to conquer the world, even if given the where withall to do so.
You say it's natural, I say it's a deviation. There's more evidence to support my point of view than yours.
