Things are good on the homefront. Amazingly so. The cynic in me wonders if this is just the quiet b4 a storm

Im glad you are liking it bro. Can be hard to pick up and change things up. I know you are a seasoned veteran and all, but it can still be daunting for some I would think. Have you been venturing out and doing any trailblazing? What are some highlights if you have?

 

We're going to start venturing out more now that the weather has changed. Until now it was just too hot really enjoy an outing for the day. On the other hand, we have figured out where the stores and restaurants that we like are located.

Afternoon Maj, haven't seen you around lately

 

Not a bad idea.

No more or less so than in Vegas. I've yet to discover the perfect burrito joint though. I've had a few recommendations but they are way to far away from where I live to bother with.

 

I am always around, but rarely find myself intrigued enough to say anything

I have no idea.......is it better to be intelligent and unhappy or stupid and happy?

 

Hmm.....ive only experienced the former. I suppose if those are the only 2 options, better to be happy? Sometimes my intellect is a detriment. I seem to overthink and harp on things at times. Sometimes I think I take all the mystery out of life through my analysis. Is that a good thing?

 

That's the question.....I feel the same way....sometimes I think we weren't meant to wonder how or why a flower blossomed.....how the seed was pollinated by a bee and how the soil had the nourishing chemicals and minerals to help it grow and what the odds of that are.........we were just meant to smell the pretty flower...it's certainly the easier and simpler of the 2.

It certainly is. Ignorance is bliss. The problem for me is that its not like a switch that I can turn on and off at my leisure.

I have so much insight and perception that it makes me a cynic. I know whats going to happen before it does and it makes me impatient and unforgiving. It makes me come across as cold. I just get so tired of saying I told you so. I inadvertantly hold others to a standard set by me. Things seem so clear to me and its aggravates me when its not so to others.
