  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Get the same in Chrome, not in Opera. I'm on it, already asked the company running the LiveJasmin pop and our hoster. But I doubt it's the livejasmin thing since it hasn't changed since like two years...really weird :<

I just got the same warning in Firefox but it wasn't present a couple of hours ago. I just noticed in my NoScript box that a new blocked site has shown up linking to isp-control.net when usually it only shows awempire.com, if that means anything to anyone.

Iit's a Google thing called "Safe Browsing" that grabs a blacklist from Google and warns the user about malware-serving. If I understand it correctly, this means that forums.phun.org is on google's blacklist atm.

    paste from google :
Google Chrome and certain third party browsers (including some versions of Mozilla’s Firefox and Apple’s Safari) includes Google's Safe Browsing feature.

Just got site warning from Google/Firefox... had to disable some security settings to come here and post.

Seems to be from something that happened last month (~8/18/12) from desimasala.co.uk.

Chrome, Firefox and IE all have warnings. Opera does not. Perhaps it's not as advanced. At any rate I rely on AVG for protection and it was Johnny-on-the-spot as usual.

No, that's not possible. Well, it's probably possible, but it would be such a pain in the ass that's it's not worth it. I can always trash the thread and spider can start a new one if he likes.

  15. Please do.

I asked spider if he'd be interested in reposting and he said no. If you can give a compelling reason to trash the thread I will. Otherwise it's okay as it is.

  17. Not interested or not willing? Could you just trash the OP? I mean it's dead now anyway.

There's no way to delete the OP without deleting the entire thread. I learned that the hard way as a new mod.

As for spider's specific intentions, who knows? I asked if he'd like to start a thread of his own and he said no. I'm satisfied with that answer. If there's an underlying issue here, I'm unaware of it, and in fact not interested. The pics have been posted, the posts have been thanked and commented on. It all appears to be business as usual by any normal measure. Except that you have deleted the pics in your OP.
