couple months now. it keeps telling me to to porn... but my wife is here.. and im old, so .. well, to much of a good thing and all.

 

i went looking for a book today on "how to write creative storeis" but i couldnt find anything that i thought i should get.
turns out Steven king has a book out called "writing" or something like that...
he should have named it.."how to try real hard to do what i do, and not really get anywhere close to it. couse you suck and im steven king got dammit!"

 

I remember a while back you mentioned writing a story. I believe it was this one, but you edited it and added some. I like it, it paints a good picture. Seems like noir which is awesome. Do you have any more beyond this point yet?

 

i have writting a few stories here, i dont know if ive ever written this before, but yes, i do write here.
i think i need to start writing more again.
as far as this, nope, nothing beyond this. its funny how i could imagine how it would play out, if it is noir or if its just a guy getting a call
is he going to go find his killer
or simply help the family he left behind
or perhaps you should write the next paragraph and we shall see where it takes us.

 

Hmm, seems to be telling me the same thing.

I would suggest not getting a book, would teach you how to write like the author of the book rather than yourself, from what I've seen on here, you can already write pretty creative stories and they have a very unique feel to them, wouldn't want to queer that by trying to write like somebody else.

 

May just take you up on that

 

I started to write something. Had an idea. I have 3 paragraphs typed up and saved. Id like to do it, but i cant be bothered tryping or writing. Maybe i should pick up a little audio recorder.

thats what it feels like when you walk out there, your guitar hanging off your shoulder, the lights blasting a path right to you, that moment when you cross that threshold, they put tape down so you know exactly were it is, were you stop being you and start being who you always dreamed of, a super star. fifty thousand screaming voices all deluded together with whistles screams chants into a epic audio mud of joy, for you. you cant help it... your arms raise, you have no choice but to walk to the nearest microphone and scream "Yea". It just comes out. thats what its like, a hurricane on a chain, its the only way to put it. for me, well, its a bit different now, now im standing in a bar in south Arkansas in front of 35 unemployed drunks that simply want the noise to stop so they can get back to flirting with the one eyed waitress. yea life is a lot different now man, but ill get back... ill get back.
