Greeting Supe! Has been a while since we crossed paths here in Phun.

 

We have a (currently disabled) function called Spam Decimator that we can deploy against serial spammers or spambots or anyone with less than a 1000 posts. It not only bans members but deletes posts and trashes threads. It's called a soft delete, the posts and threads are still here but only mods and admins can see them. I used SD against a member and instead of banning the member it banned me instead. Why? I do not know.

It wasn't a soft delete..... your threads were deleted....I had to undelete them then move them.

A hard delete is when they're gone forever. SD moves treads to the trash can but they are still on the forum.

The computer is not entirely incorrect.

 

been treating me better than it has many other folks these days....can't complain....Still healthy as far as I know.....getting up everyday and doing whatever is in order.

the phone was ringing, its odd how a phone rings, you can never tell how important that call is compared to any others
like you never know if its just a sales man or someone, not a close someone, but someone you know telling you your friend, the guy you've been seen at the bar drinking with for the last five or so years, the guy that you always buy a beer for, your try to set up with your friend Jessica, and that friend that gave you a thousand dollars for that one thing.. that thing he never asked what it was, that friend.... is dead. his body found on the docks by some night shift rent-a-cop. that friend you would go to war for, shot... in the head. the caller was deliberate in the way they explained it. more or less facts only and nothing more. then they waited for a reply, not to comfort, but merely to make sure you understood. then a bit of fake condolence and a brief goodnight... then there i stood, with that phone against my ear. now what... just odd how a phone rings, you can never tell what its about to tell you, or how its about to change you life.
