    Yep. Scribe apparently managed to bypass the built-in system security and not only ban himself but also delete all his posts and threads! Of course the deletion of his threads incurred the deletion of many posts by others, and their postcounts appear to have been adjusted accordingly by the system.

    Scribe and his threads have been restored, and we're hoping that any postcount stats that were affected will also be restored as the system reverses all the deletions in the database. This may take some hours.

    Maybe that should be in the hands of mods with admin power. I mean a normal mod has the power to ban someone but more then ban in the hands of a higher up.

    I appreciate your concern, CAI, but what seems to have happened shouldn't have been possible, even for Admins! So it's more likely to have been a system glitch rather than an error by Scribe.
    However, until he comes back online we can't be totally clear about the circumstances.
