It is really sad to me that channels like discovery, history, and other similar ones are getting away from their documentary type shows and more into the reality type shows.....this trend is greatly reducing the acceptable selection of TV to watch....:sad:

 

You're right. I think the world ran out documentaries that get ratings.

 

I will be doubling up on my potassium supplements...I hate night time leg cramps. :shock: I did very little outside today, but got saturated with sweat about three times. I bought a 12 foot fiber glass step ladder at Home Depot....had to put it on top of my SUV by myself...wet....got home and cooled off and changed clothes....unloaded the car....wet....cooled of and changed clothes again....got my gas tanks together, had to clean on out as it had trash in it.....wet....cooled off and put clothes back on that had dried out. Filled the three 5 gallon tanks, got home and carried them from the car to my outside utility room (don't keep gas in garage as my natural gas hot water heater is in there and don't want to risk gas vapors igniting). again....wet. It really is ridiculous. :?

 

Guess I will have to start scouting PBS for NOVA programs......:|

 

I guess Inuk is down to about 3-4 days on his ban.....

 

With your heat and humidity, I'm not surprised you worked up a sweat!

 

He should come back Sunday or Monday (I think).

 

All you have to do is just go outside in the sun......and then, if you physically do anything, it just pours out of you. I have to wear sweat bands or take off my glasses...the sweat just run down them otherwise. As a younger man, it did not bother me much....I just keep hydrated and keep the electrolytes up in the old body. But now it is different.

 

I sweat a lot too in extreme heat/humidity.

 

I think it is Monday...the "conversation" occurred early Monday morning our time, I think. I was surprised Inuk was up so late on a day he had to go to work.

 

I just emailed my buds that I would not be making the breakfast ride tomorrow....I have way too much yard work to do. Has been two weeks since it was mowed and I usually mow it every 4 to 5 days. Got lots of tree trash to pick up, flower beds need herbiciding, mower needs blades sharpened and oil changed.......so I need three days to get it done in this heat.

 

Those are plenty of chores!

 

I do not lack for things to do....I also need to build the contraption (2) and mount on the ceiling in my garage to store the ladder I bought today and my 24 foot extension ladder. That may be a little bet fun. I bought the wood and hardware for that task today. I need to determine the rafter pattern so I know how to make the stirrups.

 

Just a couple minutes before I take the dogs out and eat. The dewpoint is 68 (I just checked).

 

The mosquitoes here are really bad.....the City needs to spray....NOW.

 

We get dew points in the low to mid 70's quite frequently.....that usually leads to thunderstorms in the afternoons here.

 

Time to eat. Back in about half an hour.
