Thanks for the pic/example, Cold.....that is a little one, probably around 2,000 to 2,500 psi and 2 gallons per minute. My larger one allows for a wider angle nozzle and having the nozzle further away from the surface to be cleaned, so cleaning goes faster. I would have to be very careful doing a wooden deck so as to not destroy the wood.

Exactly! They charge me about $500 to do my house alone...I paid $900 for my machine.....I figure that it will be paid for in a little over a year.....and my machine is a professional grade, so it should last for the rest of my functional life.....I tend to by good stuff, like my 22 year old chain saw that still works fine. I still have a 24-foot aluminum extension ladder I bought 37 years ago...

The rain has stopped and the radar indicates nothing is on its way for a few hours.....so I think I will walk the dogs in about an hour (give the water in the streets a chance to subside)......they have not been able to get a walk now for several days....
